Gajar/Carrot halwa is a traditional Indian sweet or dessert made with fresh red carrots, milk and sugar. An all time favourite for any ocassion.
- Wash carrots thorougly and peel them and Grate them to medium thickness
- Take a heavy bottom pan, add the carrots,milk. Cook on medium heat until all the milk is absorbed.
- Add ghee, cardamom powder anf fry keeping flame medium for about 5 minutes stirreng continously.
- add sugar and stir for another 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
- Add Khoya and keep cooking until the ghee starts coming up or the mixture starts leaving the sides.
- Garnish with desired dry fruits and serve warm
