Aloo Pakora / Aloo Bhajia/ Batata Bhajji

Aloo Pakora / Aloo Bhajia simple and easy to make. Moist from inside and crispy outside. It’s deep fried snack basically a fritter. Famous Indian street food.

  1. Wash the potatoes and cut the them into thin round slices.
  2. To prepare the batter, add gram flour, chill powder, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of ginger garlic past, a pinch ofsoda bicarbonate, salt to taste, 3/4 cup of water . Mix well using a whisk to form a smooth batter
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil gets hot dip the potatoes in the gram flour batter and gently drop it into the oil
  4. Deep fry on a medium flame till they are golden brown on all sides.
  5. Drain the Aloo pakoras on an adsorbent paper and serve immediately.
